[LLVMdev] [polly] adding a polly build-bot running on windows
Hi Rick, Tobi, now that we have a way to link polly statically into the tools, we can turn on the windows polly build-bot. Let's speak about the config that the bot will run: ISL only (no CLooG), imath as a replacement for GMP, and cmake to configure llvm. The compiler will be MSVC 2013: we have verified that the current ISL version with the two patches that I sent out for ISL are compiling with MSVC 2013. Anything else that I am missing? Tobi, does this look like an interesting config for the b...

...e specific bots for linux/windows I should add this to, or should I leave the existing polly bots alone and create one or two new ones? Of course, Any change would be backward compatible to all other users of the builder. The plan would be have linux and windows cmake builds with isl only, and imath. [RFC] Semi-Automatic clang-format of files with low frequency
...Polly verifies its source formatting as part of check-polly, so every commit that violates formatting will get an email from the buildbot. It also triggers when clang-format itself changes. Did you find those helpful? The parts of Polly that are left out are its external dependencies, i.e. isl and imath. I wonder why these are even included in the clang-format status, we certainly do not want to modify these source files. For clang, I have to exclude the test folder because clang-format messes with clang -verify tests that require comments on specific lines and tests that check correct behavior o...

RFC: Import of Integer Set Library into LLVM source tree
Dear community, for our goal to make polyhedral optimization available in the main LLVM source, we will need the Integer Set Library (isl)[1]. It is the main dependency of Polly, but would be required even if we do not directly import Polly. I already prepared a patch [2], unfortunately without feedback on the general approach. As Philip suggested in the review, I am reaching out with an RFC

[RFC] Semi-Automatic clang-format of files with low frequency
The flang sub-project is supposed to be fully formatted so it wouldn’t be hard to get to 100% for a test like this and we would be happy to participate. We were at 100% at one point but there are about 10 files that need formatting now, in part because of changes to clang-format. It would be good to get early warning of clang-format changes like that. Let me know if there is anything I can do to

[RFC] Polly Status and Integration
** *Hi everyone,As you may know, stock LLVM does not provide the kind of advanced loop transformations necessary to provide good performance on many applications. LLVM's Polly project provides many of the required capabilities, including loop transformations such as fission, fusion, skewing, blocking/tiling, and interchange, all powered by state-of-the-art dependence analysis. Polly also
