Imap V4 rev.1 support
Hi.
I'm running dovecot 1.0.rc7 in a RHEL.
I need to know if this version supports IMAPV4 rev1 and IDLE for a new
project.

I'm running dovecot 1.0.rc7 in a RHEL.
I need to know if this version supports IMAPV4 rev1 and IDLE for a new
project.

Behavior difference in mbox versus Maildir listing

IMAP and webmail applications

really see where this could come into play with an IMAP implimentation.
So, not actually having read all 82 pages of RFC 2060 (but I did print
them!), I'm trying to see what I might miss if I were to attempt a web
mail application that was based entirely upon IMAPv4 with the only
information known prior to connection is the server name. Kind of like
my mail client.
Will I get into trouble with mail directories/folders if I start
accessing different IMAP servers other than dovecot? Can I discover
this without any hints from the user?

Outlook 2010 very slow when using IMAP - are there any tweaks?
...utlook coupled to Exchange, this excersize was meant to be a way of
getting rid of PST files. We don't run out own Exchange however, and
don't have any control over it either.
My workaround was to simply use the Outlook GUI space to transfer
emails between Exchange and Dovecot running the IMAPv4 protocol.
For whatever reason Outlook is being really garbage about dealing with
stuff and since I don't know Outlook or MS products very well (being
your typical average OpenSource guy) I was wondering if there were any
tweaks that could be made within Outlook to speed it up or in Dovecot
to...

Push Mail?
Hi Guys,
I am just about to get my hands on a new blackberry mobile phone and I have
done quite a bit of reading about different bits about getting the
blackberry to work with Dovecot.
Can anyone make any suggestions about the best way to either implement a
solution like push mail for dovecot? or is there a plugin etc?
