Fwd: MS asks for feedback on standards support in Outlook/Exchange

sorting question
Hi, If I understand the thread sorting algorithm correctly (from draft-ietf-imapext-sort-17.txt and the code), it will sort like this (where I use numbers instead of dates with higher numbers being newer mails) 4 10 3 11 2 12 1 13 etc into all the lower levels. Thunderbird will actually sort this like this: 1 13 2 12 3 11 4 10 where threads are sorted by the ne...

Fwd: [MORG] IMAP5 List
If anyone's interested, especially client developers. It's been a bit quiet there after the initial rush. Sorting by Sender Name
Dear Timo, Posted this originally to the squirrelmail list but they said that sorting is done server side so concluded I needed to talk to you: ============= I feel there is an error in the logic of the sort by From column. If you sort by this column, the messages are re-ordered in alphabetical order using the *email address* as the sorted word. However most people these days have their

[Fwd: An invitation to the "morg" (Message Organization) mailing list]
...t Date: Sat, 19 May 2007 17:08:03 +0300 To: squirrelmail-devel at lists.sourceforge.net Hello all, [Note: Yes, I'm not gone after all... There has been a change of plans! I'll be mostly active, time permitting] There is a new IETF effort on IMAP standards, continuing on the work of "IMAPExt" Working Group which has practically closed now. I'm sending this here because people might be interested in joining it and either contributing actively or simply keeping an eye on what will be available in IMAP servers soon. Personally I'm very interested on message and mailbox annot...

IMAP threading - the THREAD command
...hat possible interested persons can pick it, or I migth persuade someone to do it, actually :). Do you think that it's worth the issue? Does anyone have any experiences with talking to the IETF about possible extension of their draft? Ideas? Architectural questions
Greetings, I have some architectural questions regarding dovecot, and though I've half answered them by looking at the source, I'm also interested in hearing whether my (our) wishes and suggestions are already being considered (or can be considered, once built) for inclusion in dovecot itself. Let me first explain why I'm doing this. I work for XS4ALL, a fairly large ISP in the
