Default sieve mark seen?
I have the following in my default.sieve file: require "fileinto"; if header :contains "X-spam-flag" "YES" { require ["vnd.dovecot.pipe", "copy", "imapsieve", "environment", "variables", "imap4flags"]; setflag "\\Seen"; fileinto "Junk"; } This is largely unchanged, except that I added imap4flags and set flag "\\Seen"; recently. The messages still get filed into the user's Junk folder, but they are still marked as unread. I also have imapsie...

How does one mark all messages as read (imap4flag "seen") with sieve?
Hello! I had hoped that marking all messages that arrive to a specific mailbox as read/seen would be as simple as applying the following sieve script to all incoming mail for that mailbox user: ######################## require ["imap4flags"]; addflag "\\Seen"; ######################## With this script in-place, mail does not appear to be marked as read/seen. It arrives as it normally would, and my email client sees it as new mail. Is something more required? Or is it a bug/limitation in my email client? I've fo...

libsieve problems / wishes
...with "imapflags". README sec "* Supports all extensions provided by the original CMUSieve plugin:" and sec "Implementation Status" explains that "imapflags" is available. This is not true entirly: "imapflags" is not, lib-sieve uses the name "imap4flags" as defined by RFC. So, it leaves me with two options: 3a) convert all user scripts and hack Horde-Ingo, or 3b) have libsieve accept the alias "imapflags" for the extension "imap4flags". Would it be worhtwhile for libsieve to implement aliases for extensions, so that the...

Released Pigeonhole v0.5.0.1 for Dovecot v2.3.0.
Hello Dovecot users, This is a bugfix release to mend some problems that were found in v0.5.0. The imap4flags bug is actually not first seen in the 0.5.0 release (it is ancient), but I included the fix for it anyway. Changelog v0.5.0.1: - imap4flags extension: Fix binary corruption occurring when setflag/addflag/removeflag flag-list is a variable. - sieve-extprograms plugin: Fix segfault occurring whe...
