Zlib maildir reindex bug?
...filename and disconnects the client. However, it changes the filesize to the size of the message on disk, not the message's uncompressed size.
For subsequent clients, the FETCH works, but dovecot logs an error (and maybe re-indexes the mailbox?) and the message UID changes.

I just loaded 1.0.0 on a new box and am getting the following errors
periodically.

Dovecot 2.0b4 configuration issue, listen config option?
Hi,
In my 1.2 setup I have pop3 running on ip x.x.x.2 and imap on x.x.x.7
In 2.0 how do I say listen x.x.x.2:110 x.x.x.7:143 so that pop3 is not
listening on the .7 ip? I tried putting a listen = ip in the listener
section but it complained. I cant figure it out and cant seem to find
any 2.0 specific documentation, trying to search in the wiki directory
of /usr/local/share/doc/dovecot/wiki but

Index error copying compressed message
Hi.
Dovecot 2.2, with the zlib plugin, I think we're getting bad index entries on IMAP COPY.
On copying a message to an empty folder, in the dovecot error log I see:

Trouble with proxy_maybe and auth_default_realm
...nd the
"host" field points to the local server, I get the Proxying loops to
itself error. It does work as expected - log on to the local server
without proxying, if the user does include the domain name in the login.
(IP's and domain name masked below)

Mapping of INBOX.INBOX breaks imapc_list_prefix=INBOX?

"INBOX.INBOX" back to "INBOX". For me that looks like a workaround for
broken mailclients to fix some of the common problems after changing the
namespace prefix.
I never heard about that "hidden feature", but even if I don't (!) have
INBOX.INBOX:
root at imap01:~/MIGRATION # doveadm mailbox list -u test
INBOX
INBOX.Virus
INBOX.Spam
INBOX.Trash
I'm always able to access INBOX.INBOX which is identical to INBOX:
root at imap01:~/MIGRATION # doveadm fetch -u test uid mailbox INBOX.INBOX

Unknown setting: service
Hi guys,
I setup a new box with Debian Squeeze 64bit and installed dovecot from
the sources. However, I can't start dovecot or even use doveconf:
root at imap01:~# doveconf -n

But, when I do that, I end up

dovecot-antispam plugin problem with multiple messages
...es to or from a Spam folder, the plugin sends multiple copies of the first message to the backend. I've tried this with the pipe and spool2dir backends.
For example with the spool2dir backend, via IMAP doing
