ogg player for mac
Hi: Seems to me that Whamb! needs to be listed on the vorbis.com software page for MacOSX. This seems to be the best player out there for the mac (acording to what I've read here and on other lists) and it's not listed there (or at least it wasn't about 12 hours ago). This comes from Indymedia audio list, Whamb! should probobally be listed on the vorbis.com software pages. ----- Forwarded message from nathaniel t <vsea75@hotmail.com> ----- The whole world doesn't use Linux or Windows. Some tiny fraction of computer users use Macs. I didn't realize until yesterday evening how difficult and mysterious it is to try to listen to an icecast ogg

iTunes / quick time
Any idea if/when there will be official ogg support for iTunes or Quick Time for Mac ? The dual G4s have this stupid thing where if we stick the quick time components on the Mac and it screws them up, or the Mac gets screwed later, then it nacks up the warranty or sumthin. Basic point is we need official quicktime or iTunes support so we can play Vorbis on the Mac!!! Anyone heard anything on

Quicktime + FLAC?
I bought myself a PowerBook and hoped to play my FLAC-encoded library via iTunes. Alas -- it doesn't work. My understanding is that iTunes uses QuickTime for playback; does anyone know where to find a FLAC codec for QuickTime? I noticed that there was some discussion about this ~1 year ago on flac-dev. Did any dev projects get underway, or should I roll up my sleeves and give it a go? -Dave
