.... If I later end that task and try to print a test page, windows reports a failure. Does anyone here see anything wrong in what I did? What level logs should I post? I have successfully uploaded drivers and been able to print using standard windows drivers for a different printer (LaserJet IIISi). But now that I'm trying to install drivers from disk for this printer I get no luck. Through trial and error, I've discovered that our HP LaserJet 4050 and 8100 on the samba server both fail if they are the default, but oddly enough a HP LaserJet IIISi on the same server works fine. If I install one of the same failing drivers (8100) as a local printer (even while keeping existing driver), print preview and other operations work fine.
