bce reporting fantom input errors?
Hi,
After changing cables, switches, ports, I came to the conclusion
that bce is reporting input errors that are not there, or creating them.
I checked this with 3 different boxes, all Dell-2950/Broadcom NetXtreme II
BCM5708 1000Base-T (B2), and one of them, while running Solaris, reported
0 errors after a week, and freebsd after a few minutes its count was > 100.
The errors appear under

RELENG_7_1: bce driver change generating too much interrupts ?
..."RELENG_7_1 Sat Nov 29 16:20:35 CET 2008"
We have the same machine (dell PE 1950) which have not been upgraded
(production use - the two machine are carp(4)-redundant)
I don't know if it is related to "SVN rev 184826 on 2008-11-10 22:40:16Z
by delphij" patch to sys/dev/bce/if_bce.c
If I can help debugging something? These are production machines, but I
may test patches or ? on the faulty system.
Some clues:
Under the very same load (carp interfaces down on other machine), vmstat
shows:

Strange reboot since 9.1
Hello,
Since FreeBSD 9.1 I have strange problems with the distribution. Some
servers are rebooting without any kernel panic, instanly. First i
thought it's a problem with my KVM system, but one of my FreeBSD under a
Dell R210 have the same problem.
The servers concerned are now:
- Monitoring server
- LDAP test server
- Some other servers, randomly (not in production).
First i thought it's

packet loss on ixgbe using vlans and ipv6
Hi,
I have a Dell T710 with 4 X 10G ethernet interfaces (2 X Dual port Intel
82599 cards). It is running FreeBSD RELENG_8 last updated on July 13.
What I see is packet loss (0 - 40%) on IPv6 packets in vlans, when the
machine is not the originator of the packets.
Let me try to describe a little more. If a neigbouring machine ping6 it,
there will be packet loss. If it act as a router for ipv6,
