About I386 not fitting on one DVD
Just a thought
If the I386 (or i686, never could figure out why the name change)
disk doesn't quite fit on the DVD+, and needs a DVD-, this might put
some folks at an inconvenience.
I wonder if the difference between fitting and not fitting is small
enough, so that some amount of pruning might make it fit on the DVD+R
image. Some ways to prune could be:

Chinese, Japanese, Korean Tokenizer.
Hi,
I am looking for Chinese Japanese and Korean tokenizer that could can
be use to tokenize terms for CJK languages. I am not very familiar
with these languages however I think that these languages contains one
or more words in one symbol which it make more difficult to tokenize
into searchable terms.
Lucene has CJK Tokenizer ... and I am looking around if there is some

Unicode whitespace
It would be nice if R ignored more unicode white space characters.
For example, if I have "\u2028" in a command (which I get from a
line-break in keynote) I get the following error:
> qplot(carat, price, data = diamonds,
colour=clarity)
Error: unexpected input in "qplot(carat, price, data = diamonds, ?"
And occasionally have such problems when copying and pasting from

But not in pdf, as you said. You really have failed to read the
references, including the help page and tutorial I very kindly pointed you
to.
In case it has still not got through to you: PDF is not written in UTF-8
and most fonts do not include Chinese ideographs, including Helvetica, the
default font for PDF.

Opus Todo
Hi,
I had found a Opus TODO list in
https://wiki.xiph.org/index.php?title=OpusTodo&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop
.
The item "Opus-tools" interest me. And here is my question about "Port
opusdec to libopusfile/libopusurl":
1. Does this function have achieved? On one hand, I think not literally. On
the other hand, after briefly reviewing opusdec.c of opus-tools, I found

How do I get substring of utf-8 string?
I''m trying to get substring from a utf-8 encoded string. (say, first
50 characters of the string) String#[0..49] would give me the first
50 bytes not 50 characters..
I know there is jcode library, but it only let you count number of
characters in utf-8 string.
unicode gem doesn''t seem to help much. unicode_hacks gem seem to
solve the problem, but it also seems to
