identify() output doesn't print
...s isn't a faq, but.... I'm using R 0.99 for Windows under Win98. When I label points in a scatterplot with identify(), the labels appear as expected on the graphics device, but do not print when I select the printer icon. The scatter plot itself prints just fine-- only the output from identfy() is missing. Can anyone offer any hints? --Mike C. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Michael A. README file for Samba Head
I was just browsing the Samba CVS FTP site, and I noticed that in the Samba directory, where What's New file identfies the source as Alpha 3.0, the Readme File identifies itself as stable 2.0.x.. I just thought y'all might want to update that so as to avoid painful confusion. P.S. If one wanted to dowload sources for Samba 2.0.10 (or newer in 2.0), where would one look?

cluster/snow question
Dear R Users, I am attempting to use the snow package for clustering. Is there a way to identfy, in the environment of each node, a rank for that node and also, the total size of the cluster ? By way of analogy, I am looking for the functions in snow equivalent to mpi.comm.rank() and mpi.comm.size() from RMPI, in case that makes things clearer. Thanks in advance, Tolga Generally, this...

The laptop contains ~2.7Gb of data. On the first attempt we received this error at 2.3Gb and on the second at 2.4Gb. rsync error: partial transfer (code 23) at main.c(575) Would love to have a full backup of the

SYSLINUX 2.08-pre3 released
I just found a rather embarrassing bug in PXELINUX -- and what's worse -- I wrote an email about it and killed it off accidentally :-/ It appears PXELINUX doesn't free its internal socket buffers (it has 32 of them) when it gets an error reply from the server, including "file not found." This means it will eventually run out of sockets and "go deaf." This

FW: Point and Print
...cclient binary is corrupt or the version I am using has a bug in it. I would very much like to hear if anyone has succeeded in getting this process to work, particularly with PCL5/6 based printers. As a alternative, I would consider downloading and compiling Samba but I am curious as to how I can identfy what option were specified when the packages were built i.e.is it possible to query the packaged version and identify the compile options originally used. Why Ruby on Rails
Our company is mainly made up off application developers but we have a lot of web work coming up so we are deciding which route to take at the moment. We initially identfied ASP.NET 2.0 with the ATLAS AJAX framework because of the RAD features, easy to learn etc. I had read some stuff on ROR and our Boss who is open minded allowed me to create a sample application with ROR. He was impressed

Asterisk 13.1.0/PJSIP peer IP address issue
Thank you for your note, Scott. I set rewrite_contact=yes for both contacts, and I also had to do remove_existing=yes because I had to remove the existing contact information (max_contacts = 1 was preventing new contact information) using pjsip qualify demo-alice etc., after which the right IP addresses showed in pjsip show endpoints. Anyway, it works as expected now, I think. My pjsip.conf is

[RFC 00/12] Audio DSP VirtIO and vhost drivers
This patch set is a follow up to "Add a vhost RPMsg API" [1], it is marked as an RFC because firstly it depends on the RPMsg API series and secondly it is currently being reviewed on ALSA and SOF mailing lists, but any early comments from virtualisation developers would be highly appreciated too! Thanks Guennadi [1]
