Any other "free" toll free SIP providers out there?
FWD (Free World Dialup) allows any SIP call to US toll free numbers via *
18xxzzzyyyy at fwd.pulver.com This works WITHOUT the need to be registered at
FWD so in my dialplan I have something like:
exten => _8.,1,Dial(SIP/fwd.pulver.com/*${EXTEN:1},60,r)
exten => _8.,2,Hangup
And I just dial 8-1-8xxyyyzzzz and presto ... calls go through just fine
99% of the time.
I'm wondering if

Anyone had any luck with SIP clients on theiPhoneplatform?
...more directly:
I am looking for the best SIP application for the iPod Touch (Wifi
only). I don't care about 3g, Gsm or anything phone-related.
The app has to be able to register with an arbitrary SIP service
and/or dial arbitrary SIP URI. If it could dial one like this:
7463#22622#1 at proxy.ideasip.com
That would be the ultimate app for me. If not, I can usually set up an
alias on OnSIP (but they don't do # in the URI)
I tried Fring, but it didn't seem optimal. I'll try again since many
of you have said it works well.
The two apps I mentioned both work and sound fine incoming,...

Friday Jan 9th at Noon ET: VoicePHP from TringMe
Hi all,
We've had Yusuf Motiwala from TringMe on the VoIP Users Conference
before when he annouced their Flash-based web phones. Now they've come
up with something that tantalizes me, VoicePHP. Sure XML is a standard
and fairly easy to implement, but not as easy as PHP, which I have
used since version 2 (Yup, shadesof.phtml)
Here's GigOm's take on it: http://tr.im/2y4g Check
