problems with samba 3.x
...amba is at
samba-3.0.10,1
I did a rapid test of after make install from a windows XP box. It
worked fine. I also test from another samba client on linux. Again,
all was fine
However, when I attempt to access this server from ANY windows 2000
box I get the message:
>net use s: \\assurbanipal\iddwb
System error 50 has occurred.
The network request is not supported.
I left my smb.conf file in place form the prior installation. samba
loads without error -- nothing interesting in log/samba/smbd.log.
Anyone seen this and know of a fix?
Again, windows XP and other samba clients can access this...
