no ForceFeedback in Wine
Hey Guys,
The ForceFeedback from my Microsoft Sidewinder ForceFeedback Wheel doesn't work with Wine.
I compiled wine myself and "ac_cv_member_struct_ff_effect_direction=yes" was set in the config.log like it is told here:
http://wiki.winehq.org/ForceFeedback
I also checked that FF is working with BZFlag under Linux. When i play BZFlag with Wine, the FF-Effects are missing.

Detect if a drive is USB?
I'm updating a script to work with EL6 (previously worked on EL5) and am
stumped, google fu is failing me. Part of the script is to detect USB
drives and mount them. Previously, It worked something like
isUsbDevice() {
if [ -f /sys/block/$1/usb ] ; then
// do stuff
fi;
}
but I don't find the "usb" file/directory anywhere to be found any more
on el6. I've tried the

Replacement patch...
This one incorporates feedback from mburns and apevec to ensure
that all multipath devices are excluded in the list of available
drives.
Only drives with an identified bus are included in the list now.

Adding handling for Multipath storage devices
The following patches introduce support for multipath and cciss devices to the ovirt-node and node-image. Comments are appreciated.
These patches assume that the 3 patches (2 node, 1 node-image) from Joey are all incorporated.

Patch supercedes previous patch...
In looking at the code I realized that the last of the HAL depenencies were
removed with this patch. So, I'm pushing an updated patch that contains
none of the HAL code in it.

Grand prix legends recognize only two joystick axis
Hi,
I'm trying to use my saitek cyborg evolution to play with grand prix legends.
The device is correctly recognized by linux as a 6 axis 12 button device:
Code:
jstest /dev/input/js0
Driver version is 2.1.0.
Joystick (Saitek Cyborg USB Stick) has 6 axes (X, Y, Z, Rz, Hat0X, Hat0Y)
and 12 buttons (Trigger, ThumbBtn, ThumbBtn2, TopBtn, TopBtn2, PinkieBtn, BaseBtn, BaseBtn2, BaseBtn3, BaseBtn4,

create vm timeout
Hi all:
I create VM on most hypervisors very quickly, about 2 seconds. But some hypervisors are slow, taking more than 10 seconds. I started the debug log for libvirtd and found that some threads had timed out. Thread 95205 has two 5-second timeouts, but I don't know why?
Below some information about my hypervisor:
[root@node1 datapool]# virsh -v
3.4.0
[root@node1 datapool]# qemu-x86_64
