OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 +UnixWare 7.1.1 +SSH2 + PasswordAuthentication no + PermitEmptyPasswords yes
...discovered a problem with OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 and UnixWare 7.1.1
(as well as OpenServer 5.0.X and SCO 3.2v4.2)
When I set up sshd_config as follows:
PasswordAuthentication no
PermitEmptyPasswords yes
and try to connect to a password less account ( I know its a F*up, but
that's the application ID10Ts .... ) I can get in using the SSH2 version
without a valid key, the SSH1 is okay.
below is a fix I used, but I am not sure if this is okay.

How can we improve WNE?
Hello everybody.
I'm a (quite) happy WINE user, but i would like to propose some things to
the WINE developers.
Something important imo, is that it must be easy to use for the user, and
some things could be better, here are some ideas to improve it by using
Winecfg:
1. Add an option to disable/enable/edit debug channels for all programs. As
you may know, a lot of programs runs faster

Syslinux DOS-based installer in FreeDOS

Since I tried several combinations of FreeDOS (and MS-DOS) and
Syslinux versions, and initially I wasn't expecting this error, I
*might* have made some mistake (PEBKAC ID10T error). Or perhaps some
particular details in my tests are triggering the problem under
FreeDOS but not under MS-DOS (let's say, CHS values, or the size the
FAT partition, or partition alignment, or VM configuration, or...). I
was hoping that someone could attempt the test, perhaps with a...

Syslinux DOS-based installer in FreeDOS
Testing the DOS-based Syslinux installer, syslinux.com, with the "-m"
parameter, I found that it works as expected under MS-DOS and its DOS
variants, but it seems to fail under FreeDOS (please correct me if
I'm wrong).
Using FreeDOS kernel v.2041 (386f32), Syslinux v.6.03-pre11 and
either FAT16 or FAT32 partitions, executing:
syslinux.com -m -i c:
or:
syslinux.com -f -m -i

the disk (unmount it) while Samba is running. I first have to kill Samba,
then eject.
Well, of course, how do you kill Samba then expect it to run the
postexec! You can't, of course, so I'm up a bit of a creek.
Anyone have a good solution to this one? I have an office full of ID10T
Winblows users that couldn't tell a shell prompt from their earlobe.
Thanks,
Nathan
