understanding this wine message
I m currently working on installing moi 3d on wine (there is actually no nurbs modeller under linux). and my main trouble is that some of the menu do not appear. Moi3d seem , and michael gibson (devel of MOI) confirm that, to be buid with a lot of internet explorer lib.
As i did install internet explorer i got it to run. I manually specifi that all the dll that i know should be use as native by wine in wincfg (some was not listed so i just manually type their name). now i got that.
any help would be appreciate

Sound shuts off when going past the main menu in MGS1
I've got Metal Gear Solid running fairly smoothly in Wine 1.3.31 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard, with no instability or crashes so far. When I start the game, the sound acts as it should-- however, going past the main menu (such as to Briefing or New Game) causes the sound to stop working. How can this issue be fixed?

Wine and Kaleidagraph
Hi.
I am a recently debian user that don't know much about linux, but I work
hard :).
I was boring about MsWindows and I've decided to change, but I have to
work with some Windows programs.
Really I have a problem: I must use kaleidagraph in my work,I've seen
that this program is available in the Programs database, so I've
installed and upgraded my Wine.
After that I have launched (with wine) the Kaleidagraph insta...

Converting ID Numbers to Unique ID Number
First off, let me apologize for the elementary question. I'm obviously a
novice.
Here's a stripped version of my problem.
March
foreign id = 1234, my id = 1
foreign id = 1235, my id = 2
foreign id = 1236, my id = 3
So we are adding new people for April, and things don't necessarily come in
order:
April
foreign id = 1236
foreign id = 5000
foreign id = 1234
foreign id = 1235
foreign id = 7777
I need to create a vector of my own...

changes on DC not replicated, while showrepl reports no issues
Hi,
Checking a bit more today, as the two changes on DC4 have *still* not
propagated to DC2/DC3, I discovered the
samba-tool drs uptodateness
command.
I gives the following output, not sure what "unknown invocation ID"
means. I hope someone here is able to explain..?
It's output:

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla bug tracking system (http://bugzilla.netfilter.org/) that require
attention.
All of these bugs are in the NEW or REOPENED state, and have not been
touched in 7 days or more.
You need to take a look at them, and decide on an initial action.
Generally, this means one of three things:
(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to
someone else. (Hint: if you don...
