Strangeness
Ahhhh, this is very strange! MY icecast server started doing the
same exact thing today out of the blue! it looks as if hundreds of
sources try to connect or something. but why would we both have the same
problem at the same time after months of it working fine?

icecast directory, songnames
I have setup a stream running icecast 1.3.7 and liveice.
I would like lto list my stream in the icecast directory, but I dont want
the song being played to show up in the dir listing.
How can I suppress this?

directory yp.icecast.org
touch_freq 25
* yp.shoutcast.com- from following this list, I get the impression icecast flat-out doesn't work with this directory. Can any one confirm? Here's the log entry from icecast.log:

yp directory servers
Hi...i'm new in the list...
Can i do that my Icecast servers appears in yp.shoutcast.com directory server
?
If use "icydir yp.shoutcast.com" the server returns an error
If use "directory yp.shoutcast.com" the servers say "->
[08/Jun/2002:15:13:42] directory_touch_xa([yp.shoutcast.com:80])
completed...server id = -1" but not appears in yp.shoutcast.com

Icecast Directory
Why does my stream not show up in the Icecast directory but it does show up in the Shoutcast directory?
I have the following lines listed in my icecast.conf file.
icydir yp.shoutcast.com
directory yp.icecast.org
If I check the icecast.log file I see the following is occurring every couple minutes.
