T.38 "client" for Linux?
I am looking for a simple way to send occasional faxes via the FXO
port on my SPA3102 -- without having to connect a fax modem to an
ATA. In an ideal world, this would be some sort of "softfax" that
runs on my Linux desktop and talks (via Asterisk) to the SPA3102 with
T.38.
This is one of those things that I thought would be relatively
straightforward, but a couple of hours of Googling

Send Fax from Asterisk

Asterisk will download the file and capture the number and later send fax
to destination number just like '.call' file.
Does anyone worked on this scenario? If yes/no, please let me know at
earliest.

accept email and make phone call?
Any ideas on how asterisk could accept an email (such as an email to SMS or "number at mybox.org" sort of thing) and make a phone
call to a specific number and make an announcement?
I imagine the first part is the big question.
