Nevermind, that stats.xml page is worthless anyways.
got a updated version of icecast2 status

hello,
i am involved in a user-modeling research. i need to collect the following
information while icecast is serving music:
client user-id
start time for client
end time for client
user id
songs listened to
<p>can i get these info by parsing the web stats?

XML statistics on remote server
what i did in this situation was dump the stats/status file to the local
server through a lynx --dump call from php .. and then i also update a
sql table to reflect the changes so i can poll that instead ..
