I had a look at
http://www.icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.3.3/icecast2_stats.html - is it
possible to get the aggregate time of listener connections from the
admin interface, or only by parsing the connection log?
This aggregate 'tuning' time is required for music royalty calculations
in some countries. Another useful thing to know is the geolocation of
each listen...

XML statistics?
...<listeners>0</listeners>
<public>0</public>
<title></title>
<type>Ogg Vorbis</type>
</source>
</icestats>
At the following page:
http://www.icecast.org/files/icecast_docs/icecast2_stats.html
However, I cannot find such a file in my Icecast2 Win32 directory.
Obviously, I'm using the Win32 build of Icecast2, and I wish to parse
the XML file for display on the front page of my site. Perhaps it is a
configuration directive I have neglected?
Thanx in advance!

As this is historical data I don't see any reason why you'd try to get
this through the web interface. Chances are, that there you'd miss o...

icecast 2.4 check if source exists?

custom XSL, JSON or the admin backend.

If you need IPs and UA strings then that's the only option. Plain
numbers you can get easier.
Note:

icecast 2.4 check if source exists?
hello,
i've upgraded to 2.4. in order to use url-auth etc.
works fine, but now i have a problem:
i've to check if a source exists. i did so by fetching
headers for a mountpoint, example
wget -S http://server:8000/test
if a mountpoint existed in icecast 2.3.2 (my previous version),
it returned something like "200 OK", when a source was connected.
now in 2.4. it always

Need Help
Hi,
We realized that there are certain parameters within icecast that request
specific directory path
address for the program to connect upon start up...we are now trying to find
an icecast.pid file
but we have not been able to find it in any of the directories. Do you know
were we can find that
file?
Thank you,
Luis Barrett

Android App for Icecast Administration
Yeah, the app will probably only be for viewing statistics and other
Icecast data - and not for "managing" or modifying the server since it
isn't possible from the Web interface.
Any suggestions for what Icecast data the app should display?
