Time for 4.2.0 rc0?
Hey Keir,
I committed the last of the big outstanding tools blockers for 4.2
yesterday. Currently they are still in staging because they added some
new xenstore paths which tickled the leak detector in the test system
What do you think of doing an rc0 release next week?
There''s still some smaller issues remaining but I think they can wait
until rc1.
Ian.

Thanks.
IMO this patch should be considered for backporting, too.

Pvgrub on Debian dom0
Hi,
Having a problem getting a domu to boot correctly.
When I enter xl create guest it boots straight into grubdom.
If I enter the config location in grubdom t boots as expected.
The location of the grub.cfg is the same in my domu config as what in entering but just will not work.
Any ideas?
Ian

Parallel port access
I have a small Visual Basic app for a prom programmer which uses the
parallel port (lpt1) to control the programmer. It uses a third party
dll (io.dll) to give vb direct access to the hardware. I cannot get wine
to see that port at all. I have given myself rw mode to /dev/parport0,
there is a link (ln -s /dev/parport0 lpt1) in ~/me/.wine/dosdevices as
described in the user notes. The app is a

Instant Rails and your own applications
Hi,
I want to make an open source rails project as easy as possible to install.
Can I use Instant Rails for this? I treid to look at the FAQ but could not
see this was possible.
Ideally I would like to have Instant Rails install Ruby, Rails, MySql, etc
and then have it add my application and add the mysql user (could be just
root also) and then the sql for creating the tables.
Sound like fun
