One Dovecot serving 2 domains - possible?
I'm talking about Dovecot 1.0.x, since 1.1.x showed some problems on some of my servers. -- Is it possible to have Dovecot on one machine serving two different domains? How can I set the mailboxes root to one domain to /dir1/ and to the other domain to /dir2/ ? I want all mailboxes from one domain to reside on a different mailbox root. I use Dovecot LDA. Is is possible to set a LDAP

Dovecot crash
tonight dovecot 1.2beta4 crashed for the first time with an assertion failed. See attached log file. Around that time nobody was logged in into dovecot and there were no other mail deliveries going on. The mail in question should have been delivered to three recipients, one got the mail, the two others not. There is unfortunately no core dump file. I have attached the dovecot -n output as

Crash in v1.2.3: istream.c: assertion failed on line 99
Hi, I have a couple of people bumping into an issue with their imap process crashing - from the users perspective, their mail client (thunderbird) just stops recieving new mail. It still seems to be possible for them to read their mail using squirell mail. When it crashes, it leaves behind a log message like this on the server: Aug 12 15:52:25 fury dovecot: imap-login: Login:
