Troubleshooting underidentification issues in structural equation modelling (SEM)
Hi all, hope someone can help me out with this.
Background Introduction
I have a data set consisting of data collected from a questionnaire that I
wish to validate. I have chosen to use confirmatory factor analysis to
analyse this data set.
Instrument
The instrument consists of 11 subscales. There is a total of 68 items in
the 11 subscales. Each item is scored on an integer scale between 1 to 4.

I'm running a glm analysis and I got the following message:

concatenación de regresiones lineales
Hola, soy nuevo en R y en esta lista de distribución, pero a ver si alguien me puede echar una mano.
Tengo una matriz
de datos con 1539 filas, constituida por 171 eventos distintos medidos 9 veces
cada uno. Lo que quiero es, para cada evento, hacer una regresión lineal entre
la variable dependiente medida 9 veces en cada evento y el tiempo, y obtener el
valor de 'r' para cada evento.

covariate selection?
Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me with the following multivariate issue:
I have a model consisting of about 50 covariates. I would like to
reduce this to about 5 covariate for the reduced model by combining
cofactors that are strongly correlated. Is there a package or function
that would help me with this in R? I appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Ian

Formula 1.0-0: Model formulas with multiple parts and responses
Dear useRs,
version 1.0-0 of the "Formula" package has just been released on CRAN
http://CRAN.R-project.org/package=Formula
accompanied by an article in the Journal of Statistical Software
http://www.jstatsoft.org/v34/i01/
It provides simple infrastructre for processing formulas like
y ~ x1 + x2 | z1 + z2
where there are two groups of explanatory variables, e.g., pertaining to
separation equations for mean and variance or to regressors and
instruments etc. Furthermore formulas with multiple repsonses are

state space model for poisson distribution
Hi Rers,
I have a poission time series model with 5 parameters. I just wanted to remove two of the lag on response in the model and put it as a system model. I am not sure about the codes to combine these two on R. If anybody has any R example (code), please post it.
My original model: log(Y(t))~constant+b1*Y(t-1)+b2*Y(t-2)+b3*(variable1)+b4*(variable2)+e

Rserve alternative?
The Rserve documentation at
http://rosuda.org/Rserve/doc.shtml#start
states that even when making multiple connections to the Rserve,
Windows won't separate workspaces physically and share environments,
which will obviously cause problems and should therefore not be used.
Are there any alternatives for the windows platform?

I aggregated my data: aggresults <-aggregate(results, by=list(results$a, results$b, results$c), FUN=mean, na.rm=TRUE)
results has about 8000 lines of data, and aggresults has about 80 lines. I would like to create a separate variable for each of the 80 aggregates, each containing the 100 lines that were aggregated. I would also like to create plots for each of those 80 datasets.
