PATCH: Hugepage support for Domains booting with 4KB pages
...ry. In this function we reserve the PFN range for the hugepages which are going to be allocated by kernel by incrementing the xen_extra_mem_start. We maintain these PFNs as pages in "xen_hugepfn_list" in the kernel. Now before the kernel requests for hugepages, it makes a hypercall HYPERVISOR_memory_op  to get count of hugepages allocated to it and accordingly reserves the pfn range. then whenever kernel requests for hugepages it again make hypercall HYPERVISOR_memory_op to get the preallocated hugepage and according makes the p2m mapping on both sides (xen as well as kernel side) The approa...

[PATCH 0/3] xen: more portability patches
Hi Jeremy. Here are the 3 patches for ia64/xen support. The first one is just to move manage.c under drivers/xen. This is trivial. The second and third ones are for compilation fix on ia64. You may want to postpone those 2 patches to make your merge task easy as you said before. thanks, Diffstat arch/x86/xen/Makefile | 2 +- drivers/xen/Makefile | 2 +-

[RFC 00/14] arm: implement ballooning and privcmd foreign mappings based on x86 PVH
This series implements ballooning for Xen on ARM and builds and Mukesh''s PVH privcmd stuff to implement foreign page mapping on ARM, replacing the old "HACK: initial (very hacky) XENMAPSPACE_gmfn_foreign" patch. The baseline is a bit complex, it is basically Stefano''s xenarm-forlinus branch (commit bbd6eb29214e) merged with Konrad''s linux-next-pvh branch

Hello List, Merry Christmas to all !! Basically I''m trying to boot a Windows 2008R2 DC HVM with 90GB static max memory and 32GB static min. The node config is Dell M610 with X5660 and 96GB RAM and its running XCP 1.1 Many times the node crashes while booting HVM. Sometimes I get success. I have attached the HVM boot log of successful start. Many times the node hangs as soon as the
