Netlogon no longer works in 2.2.6 with W2k client
Hi, We've got a fairly simple samba setup (no ldap/winbind etc) and until recently everything worked fine (using samba-2.2.5). But after switching to samba-2.2.6 w2k-clients fail to run the netlogon-scripts. When i look at the client it says: logonserver=\\<workstationname> BTW. The output of "nmblookup -S CPB" (to me) seems to say that CPB is the logonserver. querying CPB

DDE problems
...ine or recompiled with winelib. This is also necessary to run proprietary windows DLLs from third parties such as credit card companies that bind the application to specific hardware. The software uses a lot of external hardware such as printers, barcode scanners, special keyboards etc. These hws usually communicate through the serial port. Another important feature of the software is the use of DDE - Dynamic Data Exchange from the windows API. The application is broken into at least two executables that communicate through DDE. The http://www.winehq.com/News/status.html states that the...

[RFC] llvm-mca: a static performance analysis tool
...sis > performed > by the tool. > > *That’s the part where I think that llvm-mca could benefit from more modularization of the model. The first step would be to split the simulator driver (the `NotifyXXX` code in `Backend.cpp`) from the "real" backend logic (essentially the IB, HWS, DU, SM member and the hard-coded code path that links them), and make the backend customizable by the subtarget. I’ll detail this in the review.* > An extensive list of known limitations is reported in one of the last > sections > of this document. There is also a section related to des...

[RFC] llvm-mca: a static performance analysis tool
Hi all, At Sony we developed an LLVM based performance analysis tool named llvm-mca. We currently use it internally to statically measure the performance of code, and to help triage potential problems with target scheduling models. We decided to post this RFC because we are interested in the feedback from the community, and we also believe that other people might be interested in a tool like
