hwo can i get a vector that...
dear all, how can i get a vector that shows the number of the column of matrix that contains the maximum of the row ?? can?t believe in need a loop for this... i have a 100 x 3 matrix and want to get a 100 x 1 vector with values 1,2,3 . there must be a simple solution. i just cannot find it. i think am searching on the wrong end. thx for help in advance. m.

Hwo to get CallerID: SIP -> ISDN
Hi! I trying to configure * in a way, that it uses a different CLIP (Caller-Id in ISDN) per SIP user, when relaying the call from SIP to the ISDN. So far always the main (1st) number of the number-block is sent to the ISDN. I have a E100P from Digium and use the zapata stuff (chan_zap). All SIP calls are coming through an SER. Coercing a list to integer?
...t, but not the kind of list you can use. Oh no, it converts into a list that cannot be converted into an integer, numeric, or vector, only a matrix, whihc is useless without integers. How can I get a list of the form [1] 1,2,3,4,5 into the form [1] 1 [2] 2 [3] 3 [4] 4 [5] 5? Depending on hwo you define a list, apparentely, it goes one way or the other. x <- list(1:5) means you have [1] 1,2,3,4,5 y <- list(1,2,3,4,5) means you have [1] 1 [2] 2 [3] 3 [4] 4 [5] 5 Can anyone help?# I woudl greatly appreciate it. dovecot ignores entries in virtual_alias_maps when using dovecot lda
hello list, i need help. dovecot dont look into my virtual_alias_maps . i set via postzfixadmin an alias postmaster at domain.tld to newmail at domainother.tld. when i send mails to postmaster at domain.tld mails are rejected. dovecot authworker tells me in log: user unknown. but i can request the data via postmap -v -q postmaster at domain.tld mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_alias.cf and get result "newmail at domainother.tld". any ideas, hwo to get dovecot to look into my alias maps? marko

Counting elements in columns
I have two columns and I want to count hwo many pairs I have of the same element. For example. If I have a = c(1,2,3,4,5) b= c(12, 1, 34, 2, 5, 0, 10, 100, 11) It should return 3 (since 1, 2 and 5 occur in both columns). Columns need not be of the same length. -- Thanks, Jim. e2undel for ext3
...ion of this? Something in ext3 makes e2undel unable to recover unlinked inodes. I just deleted something, umounted the drive to preserve the state. I used e2undel to look for stuff to recover and it found 0 deleted files. I have been using e2undel for quite a while with great success and I know hwo to use it, but it seems to not be able to recover stuff on ext3. Is there a difference in the superblock structure the way ext3 unlinks files? I am sure they are there still obviously. 'veto oplock files' option in 3.0.2a broken ???

Unable to replace a symlink with regular file

svnserve with SASL on CentOS 5.2
...am getting "Error: Could not obtain the list of SASL mechanisms". I think I followed the instructions in the svn book : http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.5/svn.serverconfig.svnserve.html#svn.serverconfig.svnserve.sasl, although the instructions are very sparse.
