interdomain trusts: known to work on v3.5.4?
...and interdomain trusts. I've done alot of searching on the topic and there appears to be alot of folk out there with the same problem, but not any solutions. Environment is CentOS v5.6 with yumable samba3x-winbind-3.5.4-0.70 on x86_64. Specifically, the host is joined (successfully) to A: [ehvozda at AD-test samba]$ sudo wbinfo -t checking the trust secret for domain A via RPC calls succeeded [ehvozda at AD-test samba]$ A trusts B. I can kinit and get valid tickets for principles in each, no problem. winbind appears to see both A & B: [ehvozda at AD-test samba]$ sudo wbinfo -u A\admi...

shell login with multiple domains via trusts
It's been a long journey, bear with me. we have multiple domains, that have interdomain trusts in separate forests. I can successfully authenticate via "wbinfo -A A\\userA" and "wbinfo -A B\\userB"; same with -K. The host is joined do AD "A". UserA can authenticate successfully and get a shell. However I desire B\\UserB to also be able to login as well.

question of domain group memberships
We've been using samba w/ ADS for quite ahile now and we're quite happy with it. However, we have run into an interesting impasse recently. We have domains A and B. There is bi-directional trust between the domains. The samba server has membership to domain A. Recently a new share was created and it's access is controlled by the domai ngroup A+group. A+group contains users from
