PATCH: Make QEMU send logs to stderr
...o track/find the QEMU
logfile associated with a VM. It will also save 1 backup qemu-dm-{NAME}.log.1
so if a domain crashes & restart, you don''t loose/overwrite the logfile
immediately.
Finally it changes the QEMU monitor prompt back to ''(qemu)'' instead of
''(HVMXen)'' because automated tools /scripts interacting with QEMU''s
monitor need a consistent prompt to look for & changing it for Xen serves
no useful purpose.

New problem with winxp
Just installed winxp in HVM under Suse 10.2. Now, I cannot access the
CDROM drive even though it worked fine during the installation. Windows
exploer show it as D drive, but when I put in a data CDROM, it keeps
asking to install cdrom. Device manager shows the CDROM as QEMMU CDROM
drive.
Any suggestions?

usb_add to windows guest
...on "lsusb".
According to what I read on some pages, a problem might arise without
usbfs active, so I mounted it under /proc/bus/usb and now I can see my
device info in /proc/bus/usb/devices .
My problem is that, after accessing my VM via virt-viewer and hitting
Ctr-Alt-2 to go to the HVMXen prompt, trying "usb_add host:xxx:yyy"
(from lsusb) just yields:
"Could not connect USB device host:xxx:yyy"
I also tried with the bus.addr syntax, with the same error.
Nothing seemingly relevant showed up in the logs.
Any ideas? I would appreciate some help!
Thanks in adva...
