Re: libguest-test-tool error report
...know any better. No VB was not running at the time. I thought of that and turned it off. Though, I bet the services are still up.
What is the standard kvm service? I could check to see if it is running properly. And we could go from there.
Thanks for the quick response!

Re: libguest-test-tool error report
Hello Rich,
Well, you were correct. I removed the /dev/kvm and it did a lot more. Sadly, I cannot tell if it was successful. The output file is the same size as when I started, so I am hesitant to declare success.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Mark

Re: libguest-test-tool error report
Hello Rich,
Well, I did give that a try. But it is back to being unable to access kvm (log attached). It did make the qemu error go away.
Thanks,
Mark

Re: libguest-test-tool error report
Hello Rich,
Well, that stinks.
I really appreciate the quick responses. Thank you for your time and effort, too. I will see what I can do to solve this problem some other way. Maybe I can virtualize my disk image maker.
Thanks,
Mark

Re: libguest-test-tool error report
...ich,
I figured out how to stop the VB services. I then deleted the /dev/kvm. Then I ran the libguestfs-test-tool and it said 'OK'. Then I ran virt-resize and it was unhappy that /dev/kvm no longer existed. I have attached the debug output for your review.
Thanks,
Mark

Error: No Host Found
.... Then I determined that I was not using a big enough flavor. So, I changed that. Still, I get the error.
I have attached the appropriate (I hope) log files. I am unsure what I have done wrong at this point, especially since the Horizon interface is failing too.
Thank you for your time,

Hello,
I am trying to use virt-resize. It does not work. I set the debug environment variables and ran libguestfs-test-tool. The following is its output. I am running RHEL 6.5 desktop with kernel:

FLAC decoding
hi,
I want to know more about FLAC decoding, rice coding and LPC, more details or examples.
I view https://xiph.org/flac/format.html. But only know some theory which is very abstract.

Print spool icon in systray reports jobs pending when none are pending
I have an issue I'd like to resolve with a client and the print spool
icon in the systray...
If the user (on w2k) mouses over the print spool icon, it tells them
"xxx jobs in queue" or some such, and the xxx increments once for each
new print job they send.
Also, the print spool icon never disappears from the systray until a
reboot, or re-login. Once a job is sent to one of the

(there was no subject, but about rsync/ssh"
In order to do rsync over ssh without providing a password, you must be
able to ssh without a password. The --password-file= option is to provide
a password for a rsyncd server (run as rsync --daemon) password. rsync
cannot provide a password to an external transport like ssh or rsh. You
will find that if you do "ssh -l wl 192.1.4.231 uname -a", for instance,

Subscribe to multiple files
Hello,
I am attempting to reload both nfs and nfslock when changing my exports configuration file.
Unfortunately, I am unable to discern the correct syntax for making a single object subscribe to multiple objects.
I have tried:
=> [nfs nfslock]
=> [nfs, nfslock]
=> [[nfs],[nfslock]]
=> [[nfs] [nfslock]]
and none of them seem to work.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Strange problem with exported ressources
Hi there,
I have a strange problem with the exported ressources in the munin

See: http://mail.madstop.com/pipermail/puppet-users/2007-June/003179.html
For some reason it stopped working.
On the munin::host I get the error that:

mirrorlist returns wrong servers
Hi,
We're using CentOS on various servers in Japan.
Recently, I found that mirrorlist.centos.org returns servers in China.
It makes "yum update" slow.
This problem occurs on "update" repo.
Our tries and results are follows:

Some ''in service'' questions
Hi,
Just a quick query about some things that crop up when I run ''puppetd

output, which I think is strange as the ''man'' package has been installed
previously and the firewall service is definitely running. Has anybody
got any suggestions as to why puppet thinks it needs to install the man

RE: IAX2 calls failing one way
I received this before, and it is because you are using the wrong context in
the iax.conf.
For example:
The context must match the username in the register statement.
Iax.conf...

sshkey
Hello all,
How are you using the sshkey type? Are you using it to list hosts and keys in a class that nodes include in order to manage /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts or something else? How does any of this relate to the sshrsakey and sshdsakey facts on the host? I read some stuff about this on the Virtual Resources page but it''s too vague for my simple mind and I''d be reluctant to use
