Slow Printing (2nd Attempt)
...there a way to tune this ? Is the
'lpq command' supposed to run for all printers each time I open the
"Printers" folder ?
Or is it the authentication chat that is taking so long ?
Any tips/pointers/help/patches are greatly appreciated.

Parent Child form using Partials
I am trying to make a simple application which consists of contacts and
their addresses.
class Contact < ActiveRecord::Base
has_many :addresses
end
class Address < ActiveRecord::Base
belongs_to :contact
end
I would like to be able to edit/add addresses from within the edit/add
of the contact. I scaffolded the contact and address objects and
modified the contacts/_form partial as

Static mappings with SAMBA WINS ?
...9;\\foo.bar.com') when mapping drives to it or viewing
the shares.
How does one get the same result using a SAMBA WINS server ? I've
tried adding an entry into the SAMBA 'lmhost' file with no luck.
Is there somewhere else to stick static mappings like this ?

Samba 2.0.5a problems
...m ?
Thanks,
Craig
PS Another strange factoid - while using 'testparm' to debug this problem
I found that the new security mask parameters had some weird defaults (like
0377777777). I explicitly set them in my smb.conf in case that was a problem
but it made no difference.
