Run multiple instance of apache
Hello everybody, I am trying to run 2 instances of apache on centos since 2 weeks with no lucks :S, exactly on the same IP address but different port. I've set up two configuration as follow: /etc/httpd and /etc/httpd2, and I duplicated the httpd service, so now I have 2 httpd service each one run an httpd conf. Winbind errors result in no logins!
Everyone, We are currently seeing a very strange problem on our server. Everything will be running along smoothly and then all of a sudden, nobody will be able to login. mod_perl and httpd2
I've got httpd and mod_perl installed, but I seem to have an application that requires part of mod_perl that doesn't seem to be properly installed into perl, notably, the 'Apache' portion. To 'fix' this, cpan would like to install either mod_perl-1.29, or alternatively to install mod_perl-2.0.2. 1.29 doesn't seem smart, and 2.0.2 absolutely will not install over the

Apache 2.2 under CentOS?
...nto the 2.0 spec, even though none of us really considers ourselves a 'C developer'. We've basically got them all working now under the 2.0 API, and the question was posed about whether or not we should consider attempting to upgrade everything to run under httpd-2.2. I noticed the httpd2 port is only 2.0.53 under CentOS, and I was wondering why that is? Is there a 2.2 port? Is there plans to do one? Was it tried and found that there are significant obstacles in the way of getting 2.2 to run under CentOS 4.4? Is there a port of 2.2 planned for 5.0? Is it a question of resour...
