Interesting VoIP device
There was some talk a couple of weeks ago about voip devices w/ ethernet and fxo/fxs configurations. I found this while out and about and thought it might be interesting. thurston case 5
...0.441 0.375 0.500 Can someone help me write an R script to compute the Thurston Case 5 values? The result should be the scale values for each item. I found three web pages that might be useful in this, but again, I didn't know enough to translate them into a result. http://marketing.byu.edu/htmlpages/books/pcmds/THURSTONE.html http://www.personality-project.org/r/thurstone.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_comparative_judgment Thanks, Jared -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/thurston-case-5-tp21768835p21768835.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabb...

Re: traffic shaping
Hello Chuck! I have 128kbit/s for 70 computers and if several users start several FTP/HTTP/Torrent downloads (or one downloads with several threads) or also open several htmlpages with big content, for other users remain not very much. As i hear Squid make traffic shaping on IPaddress base and in my scenario every user will work in equal borders (as another) for all his connections. Can we do such with 'tc' utility? Sorry for question not exact for this...

proportional chance criteria
...bserved proportions in predictions. More sprcifically I am refering to proportional chance criteria (Cpro). Details are in Huberty's book on Applied discriminant analysis, unfortunately our library has misplaced the book. I got some details from the following page http://marketing.byu.edu/htmlpages/tutorials/discriminant.htm but I still need to compute the p-val from their Z-statistic. Thanks ../Murli
