Hi, I got few servers (IBM HS20,HS21 blades, IBM xSeries 3650 & others) connected to a dual fabric san throught Qlogic HBA's (23xx, 24xx). Multipathing is done with device-mapper-multipath. On CentOS 4.x i can scan for new scsi devices without any problems, get them up with multipathing & use them without any problems....

Thanks to debugging information from Thomas Mieslinger, I have root-caused the failure of chain.c32 in Syslinux 3.85. I have put out Syslinux 3.86-pre1 and Syslinux 4.00-pre33 which fix the problem. I expect to release a Syslinux 3.86 relatively shortly (ideally in the next two weeks), with bug fixes only. I would like to figure out if there are other bug fixes we can get in in reasonable time,

Hello All: Had an issue after upgrading to the latest CentOS kernel from kernel-2.6.18-164.11.1.el5 to kernel-2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 on an IBM HS21 blade with SAN boot. Upgrade went fine, but after rebooting the system was unable to find /boot even though it was mounted. HI Dom0 is CentOS 5.2, 64-bit, Xen version 3.2.1 and 3.2.2. I got Fiber SAN disk system and 2 servers and i am making shared LUN available to both servers. Then i got multipath layer running on both Dom0s and so Xen is seeing device-mapper file, instead of two /dev/sdX devices, then i have setup Xen domU (HVM Windows 2003) using /dev/mapper/sharedLUN as physical storage to my windows server.
