Large matrix into a vector
Hi,
I have a matrix HR(9x27). I would like to make a
single vector with elements: t(HR[,1]) followed by
t(HR[,2]) and then t(HR[,3] ... etc. Is there any neat
way of converting this matrix into a vector rather
doing something like c(t(HR[,1]), t(HR[,2]), t(HR[,3])
..)?
Thanks in Advance.
Kind regards,
Ezhil

Shared directory contained within another shared directory
Hello,
I have Samba server running version 3.0.33-3.29.el5_5.1. The Samba
server is a member server of a Windows 2003 domain. Winbind provides
authentication.
We have a physical directory named hr that is shared as "hr" and is
accessible to the HR department. A subdirectory of the hr directory
named hrshared is shared as "hrshared" and should be accessible to
specific users that are not part of the HR department. File system

significant)
while doing simple 'lm' will be involved in interactions. How do i take into

I'll appreciate if someone can throw some light on this matter and how to
use R to detect
the interactions effectively .
Thanks

Retaining Permissions on a share
Hi all,
Sorry to repost about this same issue once again, but I'm really at a
complete loss as to how to solve the problem with ownership being changed
after I've set it.
I've set ownership as follows... ( set this by chmod -R 0770 HR, as well as
chgroup -R HR-Group, I then signed into a Windows PC that was part of the
domain, went to computer management as per the WIKI and chose "connect to
remote computer" went to the sharing on this DC and under sharing only set
HR-Group, and then under permissions I set HR-Group, D...
