Saving printer settings trouble
Hello,
I'm trying to set up a samba server for printing. I've attached an HP940c to
the USB port of the machine and followed the instructions on the Samba HOWTO
docs.
I succesfully added the printer, created the printer share, created the
[print$] share with all its subdirectories and chmod it 777, and added 2
users to the printer admin group.

HP Deskjet drivers, Samba and Cups
I have Samba 2.2.7 running on Redhat 8 (fully updated). I have two printers
set up - a laser and a Deskjet 920C both connected to the Redhat server via
USB cables. Printing is managed using CUPS although I get the same problem
with LPR and Webmin configured printers. The laser works fine, the deskjet
doesn't. The deskjet works with a generic windows HP Deskjet or HP Deskjet
