Hello, I am trying to install automatic printer driver download and install. I am running Samba 3, as a PDC, on RedHat 7.3. It seems everything is setup correctly, although I cannot get the rpcclient to 'see' my printer. Please notice these two printers listed below ar the same (lp & HP2300). ...river is fine. The Add Printer Wizard for uploading vendor specific for the PCL 5 drivers is working fine and printing is working. I have some trouble with the vendor specific Post script drivers. Uploading the Postscript drivers is OK but when we want to print something on the printers (hp2280, hp2300) the printer only prints the prostscript definition text and produces tons of pages. I did wonder if the lsa_io_sec_qos: length c does not match size 8 error is because the printer name is too long, especially as when I tried a shorter name such as HP2300 - with no spaces the files did end up in the correct directory!! I therefore attempted the setdriver command and still get error messages such as WERR_ACCESS_DENIED.
