Letters group Games-Howell post hoc in R
...est in R instead of one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey posthoc. Nevertheless, the problems come from when I apply posthoc test. In Tukey posthoc test I use library(agricolae) and displays me the superscript letters between virus groups. Therefore there are no problems. Nevertheless, to perform Games-Howell posthoc, I use library(userfriendlyscience) and I obtain Games-Howell output but it's impossible for me to obtain a letter superscript comparison between virus groups as it is obtained through library(agricolae). The code used it was the following: library(userfriendlyscience) data(sweetpot...

Stat textbook recommendation
Monte, For a list of online sources that may be useful, go to http://www.uvm.edu/~dhowell/methods/Websites/Archives.html and check out some of the material referenced there. Clay Helberg's site is particularly helpful. Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to keep links current, so some are likely to be dead--although you can often find them via Google. Games-Howell function for post-hoc multiple comparisons
Dear R users, I am conducting multiple comparisons among 12 groups (after a significant F-test) that are heteroscedastic (as judged by a significant Levene's test). It seems from the literature that the Games-Howell post-hoc test is the most appropriate for these data - but, I can't seem to locate a function on the R-site or CRAN or the help lists that implements this test in any R package. I'm unsure whether the TukeyHSD test is tolerant of heteroscedasticity - I think not, and I know Hochberg's...

Dom0 freeze on HVM DomU Windows reboot with VGA passthrough
...on?). Though from what I can tell, the the freeze happens when DomU starts again, not the shutdown. Is there any pointers on how I could debug this? Xen 4.2.1, Dom0 is Linux 3.2.36, with xl passthrough. I have tried both WinXP and Win7 and both shows the same result. Thanks! -- Regards, Howell.

Games-Howell, Gabriel, Hochberg
Hello, I read a book about statistics in psychology. The authors use SPSS. They talk about post hoc tests after ANOVA finds significant effects: - Gabriel's procedure (for equal or slightly different sample sizes) - Hochberg's GT2 (for different sample sizes) - Games-Howell procedure (for populations with unequal variances) I could not find them in R. Do they not exist in R or are there any equivalents? I know that I can use Tukey HSD if the sample sizes are equal and the variances are homogeneous. Thanks! Claus

I also understood that new(er) versions the proprietary nvidia drivers does not officially support non-quadro cards with Xen on both dom0 and domU. Are there any workaround for that? Thanks! [PATCH] VSOCK: Split vm_sockets.h into kernel/uapi

Extracting t-tests on coefficients in lm

I would like to type something like tcoeff[i,] = brg$tvalue but, of course, tvalue doesn't exist. Is there a simple way to extract, or compute if necessary, these values? Large hard disk support in FreeBSD
...sful this is likely to be? Will I be able to use the full capacity of the drive? The use of F for False and T for True
...If it is OK to replace TRUE with T, why can't I replace FALSE with F? I have a similar problem if I write data <= read.table(file.choose(), header = F) I'm using a Windows machine with version 2.8.0, but I'm sure that this is not a machine specific problem.
