Hi ! I'm just wondering if it is possible to control asterisk in a dynamic way, such as, for example, signal to asterisk to give info about callers that are queued ( like in a hotline, everybody is queued until somebody take their call), and explicitly signal asterisks to redirect a particular call to a computer through VoIP ( imagine a hotliner choosing a call from a list of waiting calls and getting this one on his Computer through VoIP). Does IAXy2 have any internal diaplan? What I need to do is have a phone that when picked up automatically dials out in a hotline fashion. Has anyone come up with to timestamp a Recording? I am using a pretty simple dialplan to record a audio file for a hotline. I'd like to store the date and time it was recorded somewhere, Ast DB or MySQL DB. Then when the audio file is played back to a caller, the system will say something like. hi, we are running a server in a mixed environment, where encrypted (98/NT) and non-encrypted passwords (95) are used. I've now configured smbd to use encrypted passwords ("encrypt password" in smbd.conf) and was relieved to see that non-encrypted passwords work, too. however, at the server side (linux2.0.35, smb-1.9.18p10), one has to add all users in the samba-password file.
