tinc crashing behind "stateless firewall"
I had a problem in a hostel a few weeks back. My "server" (the one machine which has a public IP) was crashing when started connecting my laptop in the WiFi of the hostel. I don't know if this data helps, but I created an experiment setup and saved journald logs and dumpcap dumps, from the "server" and the "client" (the laptop in the WiFi of the hostel) I talked

Per VLAN Bandwidth allocation by Shorewall
Hi, 1. We have 20+ VLANs behind shorewall firewall. We would like to distribute the Internet bandwidth to different VLANs having minimumm, typical and maximum values based on IP ranges after NAT e.g., 172.17.4.0/24. What rules need to be created to do so? 2. We also would like to time the access of internet of some of the VLANs, i.e., 172.17.4.0/24 should be allowed to access the internet only

WINS server looses election irregular in a heterogeneous network
Dear Samba-Users, I have to administer a Samba WINS Server in a heterogenous network. It's a student hostel with about 200 mixed (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) computers. We have a DHCP, which delivers the WINS-Server address to the clients. I don't have access to the clients. The problem is, that the WINS-Server (Samba 3.0.27) looses the Master-Browser election irregulary. I can't

Gearing up for FOSDEM 2007
Hi all, [Resent here, because it is off-topic on centos-devel] According to [1] the project has arranged a stand at FOSDEM. Are things 'definite' enough to start booking a hotel/hostel? Since I am probably coming by train I can only take my laptop with me, and good cheer :). -- Daniel [1] http://wiki.fosdem.org/Stands

Dear colleagues, I am trying a glm.nb for the distribution of a plant species with 93 environmental variables. I execute the instruction and I get the following message: "Error: C stack usage is too close to the limit". How can I increase the memory of R? Your sincerely, Nora. _________________________________________________________________ [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

[LLVMdev] Parallelization
Hi, I am looking into something similar as well for auto-parallelization i.e. some sort of low level support at the IR level for parallelization. I'd be interested in collaborating with anyone who is working on the same. >From a brief look at the architectural overview of Polly, it seems as if the parallel code generation is being done at the IR level since the input file is an LLVM IR

[LLVMdev] Contributing to Polly with GSOC 2011
Dear all, I am Raghesh, a student pursuing M.Tech at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. I would like to make contribution to the Polly project (http://wiki.llvm.org/Polyhedral_optimization_framework) as part of GSOC 2011. I have gained some experience working in OpenMP Code generation for Polly. This is almost stable now and planning to test with the polybench benchmarks. Some of

Rethinking WineConf
Hi All, This past Wine conference, while great fun as always, was not as well attended as Wine conferences in the past. So I would like to stir up trouble by suggesting we rethink WineConf. For those that have not attended, the Wine conference has been a mostly annual affair since 2002. It is open to all, but is advertised as being aimed at Wine developers. About 35 people attend each year.
