[ISSUE] Honouring Silent Caller ID Numbers
I am not sure how this works in other countries, but in Australia - according to Telstra - the caller id is managed by the terminating device which is the telephone. If the caller id has been flagged as a silent number then generally the caller id is not display, but rather display with an alternative message 'Number Withheld' or 'Private' or whatever. Right now every

LMTP delivery honours .forward by default?
I was under the impression that Dovecot does not look at .forward by default, since of course, Sieve is where that kind of logic should go. However, I'm seeing a .forward file being honoured by the LMTP delivery agent. Is this to be expected?

[Bug 1107] Honouring securetty file in HP-UX with UseLogin
...Version: 4.2p1 Platform: Other OS/Version: HP-UX Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: sshd AssignedTo: bitbucket at mindrot.org ReportedBy: senthilkumar_sen at hotpop.com The /etc/securetty file is not honoured in HP-UX with UseLogin directive. This is because login(1) on invocation with -f option in OpenSSH skips this checking. Will attach the patch shortly. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.

Samba not honouring write/admin lists on shares
I'm running debian testing, so samba 3.05 atm. As of a few upgrades ago, which i think coincided with a library restructure or somewhat samba is no longer honouring read/write/admin lists on share definitions. Using the below share as an example, previously all users could access the share with read access, and those in the ntadmins group had write access. Since the upgrade users can only

[Issue] Does the *-pbx cmd page honour the absolute timeout value?
I had an incident, whereby the caller didn't either hang-up their SIP phone properly or the disconnect/hang-up information didn't properly find their way back to the Asterisk-PBX and it left the company phone system in intercom mode with about 90 phones overnight (624mins, CPU utilisation was running much higher than normal until i used the meetme kick <channel> all

Note: "The default device has been opened to honour attempt to modify trellis settings"
R-help, I'm using a function whose end result is a trellis plot. When I call the function I get sometimes the following message: "Note: The default device has been opened to honour attempt to modify trellis settings " leading up to any plot whatsoever. I call the package 'lattice' within the function and 'detach' after plotting. I have to close the graphics

Userdb passwd and 'nologin' users
...next release should probably mention that system users with a 'nologin' shell will no longer be allowed to log in to IMAP until the 'auth_check_nologin' setting is changed from true to false. Also, there seem to be two first/last_valid_uid settings: first_valid_uid itself, which is honoured by the storage subsystem, and auth_first_valid_uid, which is honoured by the 'passwd' userdb. Is this intentional? Ben -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name: userdb-passwd-nologin.patch Type: text/x-diff Size: 4203 bytes Desc: not available URL...

BUG 'doveadm mailbox' list does not honour symlinks to (mbox) mailboxes
doveadm mailbox list does not honour symlinks to at least the mbox mailboxes I relocated temporarily. You would expect it to behave similar to the server and use the symlinks. dovecot-2.2.36-3.el7.x86_64 CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core)

Group permissions not honoured by Windows clients
...but anyway I cannot rename it (as said in point 1). I noticed that if I add write permissions for the directory for other users (setting it to 772), everything works fine and I can do what I need. But I guess this shouldn't be the correct solution. Seems like group write permissions are not honoured by Samba. Any hint? Thank you in advance, Loris

--timeout not honoured
Hi I already wrote about this problem half a year ago but didn't get an answer: http://lists.samba.org/archive/rsync/2009-June/023412.html I'm using rsync 3.0.3 on a NAS. In the parameter list I use --timeout=1800. But still I often have rsync stall much longer than that. Some examples: 2009/12/14 23:14:35 [8707] io timeout after 11670 seconds -- exiting 2009/12/14 23:14:35 [8707]

srv records not being honoured properly
...193.213.184: ICMP 209.9.237.93 udp port 5070 unreachable, length 556 10:15:48.614675 IP 67.193.213.184.5060 > 209.9.237.93.5070: SIP, length: 855 10:15:48.655403 IP 209.9.237.93 > 67.193.213.184: ICMP 209.9.237.93 udp port 5070 unreachable, length 556 So, as you can see, the priority was not honoured, nor was the alternate SRV record used when there was a connection failure. Maybe that's because it was looking for a lower priority. Is SRV handling in Asterisk just broken? Or is this a known and fixed bug? b. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed......
