modeling binary response variables
...riable is percent.dev (se2.dev are the errors from binomial
estimates given probability and number of samples).
Descriptor variables are num.days, ppd, temp, and pop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Half-Life sound problem
Hi,
finally got HL to run at 1024 in opengl. But there are some things
which i'm not happy about:
1) Sound lags about 1 sec after the game, EAX doesn't work.
2) Some fonts don't get found (which messes up the scoreboard).
I'm running Mandrake7.2 with kernel 2.4.2 and XFree 4.0.1 and
nvidia's 0.9.6 drivers. Some things i've found out so far:

Half-Life Troubles (again)
Hi,
i can't play Half-Life anymore. The error message in the console says:
fixme:system:SystemParametersInfoA Unimplemented action: 3 (SPI_GETMOUSE)
I think it's got something to do with the settings for XFree as i was able
to play HL before and didn't change anything with wine (iirc). First only
the -desktop and -managed options didn't work anymore with HL and
