[PATCH net-next] vhost_net: disable zerocopy by default
Vhost_net was known to suffer from HOL[1] issues which is not easy to fix. Several downstream disable the feature by default. What's more, the datapath was split and datacopy path got the support of batching and XDP support recently which makes it faster than zerocopy part for small packets transmission. It looks to me that disable...

Well IIRC vhost_zerocopy_signal_used is used to actually reorder used ring to match available ring. So with a big comment explaining why it is so, we could just enable IN_ORDER there too. > > Signed-off-by: Jason Wang <jasowang at redhat.com> > --- > drivers/vhost/net....

Is it same as "Box-Ljung Statistics" of stats package ? Further, please tell me how to compute it ? I...

Verifying a real LLVM front end would be a big projet but substantial headway is being made on that kind of thing for example by Xavier Leroy's group. I've tried to sell some of the HOL folks on this idea (they have a formal semantics for an ARM ISA, for example) but so far no dice. John Regehr
