Hi! I have to migrate a samba domain to an Active Directory and therefore I need as first step to have a NT4.0 BDC in my network. As I don't find an useful answer via google I want to ask you if a NT4 BDC will work in a Samba PDC enviroment? regards Martin

I have 2 subnets connected via VPN. In one subnet is the W2K AD PDC in the second a Samba 3.20b server. I can't see the Samba Server on the other net in the browsing list on a windows machine. I think the cause for that is the VPN connection - is there a chance to solve that? lg martin

i have just rebuilt glibc package with this option CFLAGS="-g $OPTIMIZ -mno-tls-direct-seg-refs" \ as suggested on this page http://www.pervasive.jku.at/About_Us/Staff/Hochreiter/Server_Virtualization/ but its failed i have only installed the glibc-2.5-i486-4.tgz afterwards thats all it says. Everything works great when I am on server1 But when failover ocuurs I cannot seem to log on the domain anymore.
