Can anyone tell me what is causing htis by chance? I know it is the application. What's weird is i "fixed' it last time by reformatting the machine to stabilize this one app. Now after a month it crashes again.... If I try to run the windows half-life server hlds.exe in gui mode (without the -console parameter), it runs but the display does not update. ...eople sent. I have Slackware 10.0 running, and have used for quite a while. I run the Windows Half-Life OP4 server using wine. To start this, I have to start either the Norton Commander for Windows, or the Total Commander for Windows, both windows file manager type of programs. From there, I start hlds.exe, and it runs just fine. Both of these file managers see ONLY C:\, the windows fake drive, and Z:\, which appears to be mapped to my linux root (this is not my doing, it just appears there and I'm guessing this is a feature of Wine). I have an hlds server on a CentOS 3.3 box with all the latest updates. it is a p-4 1.4 ghz with 384 megs of pc-800 and no less than 250 megs free at all times. I run several programs under Wine. Specifically, I'm running the win32 half-life server, hlds.exe, and the program TotalCommander, a windows file manager program. If I try to minimze either of these programs, they minimize and immediately pop back up again. ...what i want it to do. I have a cs 1.6 server that generates quite a bit of logs. That log generation is going to increase significantly with one of my plugins i am going to be installing(logD and the impressive plugin). I want to tell logrotate to daily rotate all the logs inside my /servers/hlds/cstrike/logs folder. A new log is generated every map change and when any on-the-fly configuration is changed. Over the past 5 days there are 350 logfiles. How can i tel logrotate to rotate all of the individual logs in the folder, when rotating to compress them, store the compressed files...
