Pinch Hitter 1 is playable now, AOL Video progress
Hello! With today's swfdec, Pinch Hitter 1 can actually be played: http://www.addictinggames.com/pinchhitter.html Pinch Hitter 2 still cannot get beyond the "namecheck": http://www.addictinggames.com/pinchhitter2.html Pinch Hitter 1 used to consume all memory in the system. AOL Video used to do the same, but now it doesn't do anything bad (although it still doesn't play

Can't get OpenGL to work
Hello all, today I've tried to use two applications which claim to use OpenGL (Catia, oZone3D) in Wine on Ubuntu 7.10. The version of Wine coming along with Ubuntu is 0.9.46-0ubuntu1. Each time I start one of these applications, they claim to find no OpenGL library. Since I can run glxgears (~1400fps) in Ubuntu directly, I consider my graphics to work fine and point my finger

recently happend kernel panics regarding usb
Hi, I'm experiencing recently happend kernel panics while making bacula backups on my external USB harddisk. It first happened some days ago while I was running 6.4-PRERLEASE. I then updated to 6.4-STABLE and enabled all the kernel debugging stuff. I've uploaded "screenshots" (including backtrace) here: http://pics.pofo.de/gallery/v/misc/ I'm now not sure if the external

Two regressions and one improvement
Hello! With the current swfdec (07c006a9785a5043c0a0a4b8d78b28c0735020c4) the youtube player shows "infinit/infinit" instead of time. Pinch-hitter from bug 13627 has a new problem now - the only available team is "Washington" instead of a long list. On the positive side, AOL video doesn't hog the CPU anymore (but doesn't play either), e.g.

using a USB HID device with WINE?
I have a flight sim (PhoenixRC) that comes with a special controller. The controller shows up as a Human Interface Device (HID) and it seems to work just fine with Ubuntu--I can do "sudo cat /dev/usb/hiddev0" and see the output change as I move the controls around. However when I start up PhoenixRC it complains that the controller isn't connected. Is there a way to use the controller

Developpers vs users
I think some developers should get at some time down their high horses. I comment or a question is not meant as degrading their work. It is just a fact seen no more no less, maybe followed by an idiotic question from somebody that may not have had a PHD in Windows API. Telling the user *you are an idiot*, replace your prefix because it's W2000 also W2000 *had never* been used *vergraut mir

Textfields
Hey everybody, I've just merged my TextField hacking into master. It's basically a big refactoring and test addition thing, to get signals and variables report something sane. It's not complete yet, but I wanted to have it in, so we don't get too many merge conflicts when Pekka fixes the HTML parsing bugs. Here's a partial list of what's missing so far: - vertical

wine proccess list
Hello to all. I have something in mind that I would like to ask to Wine developers. Is it possible using a hack/trick or a hidden option to change the name of wine in the proccess lists? I mean, Is it possible to list 'wine' proccess as, for example 'iexplorer' when I use Internet Explorer under Wine? Thanks a lot for your work, hope my question find the answer here.

Wine HQ APT Repository doesn't show up in my repositories list
I just installed Wine and used it to install a couple of applications. One is running fine. The other ran once, then stopped. However, I am writing to say that I followed the instructions on the download page for adding the Wine HQ APT Repository to my repositories list. Running win or Linux apps on a Power PC Mac
Hi, I am desperately trying to make a little application work that is only available for Win or Linux machines. My computer is a G4 Power PC Mac running Tiger. Darwine is not compatible PPC. There was an old version, but in the readme file it said that I would not be able to run .exe files on a PPC, so I don't understand the point of the application... Qemu doesn't work. OpenLina is

3D accelleration and Intel 940/945GM/GMS/GML
Hi, is there anyone here who succeed to run any 3D software at good speed with such 3D hardware ? On my side, 3D accelleration is ok with Xorg and pure linux game (xmoto for example run really fine). Is there anything to do with Wine to allow programs runs under it to work as "native" Linux software ? Have I miss something somewhere ? (I think of wine compilation and especially

[PATCH] Refactor silk_LPC_analysis_filter() & Optimize celt_fir_permit_overflow() for ARM NEON
...alculation when USE_CELT_FIR=0. xcorr_kernel() itself is great and provides many gains. The only issue is that calling it in a for loop makes it less efficient. xcorr_kernel() is called in several functions including celt_fir(), celt_pitch_xcorr() and celt_iir(). All these functions are not heavy hitters. silk_LPC_analysis_filter()'s CPU cycles are 6.8% with complexity 8 and 8.9% with complexity 5 out of the whole encoder. It probably makes sense to have a specific optimization to not calling xcorr_kernel() too many times to save 1% to 1.5% CPU cycles here. How do you think? Thanks, Linfeng...

Hey, In case someone filters commit mails or doesn't read 1MB blobs, I've just merged the result of me getting annoyed at various stuff. Unfortunately, this grew a bit out of hand and ended up being very huge. I expect this merge to have broken lots of things, so if you find stuff that used to work and now doesn't work (or even crashes), please poke me about it. What does this patch
