[Flac-users] software
Hello everyone! I'd like to set up a FLAC jukebox on a Linux laptop. What
do you guys recommend for software? I need to be able to tag the files
according to the data I want in there, and then I need to be able to play
the files back in all kinds of crazy ways according to the tags. What do
you guys recommend?

FLAC CD Archive

...and is now in the latest version of abcde (along with several other
updates). You can grab it straight from subversion (and I think *MAYBE*
in the unstable debian abcde package, but I'm not sure):

I was planning on integrating TOC file generation via cdrdao to abcde,
followed by cuefile "munging" as appropriate/required (preferably in
shell-script rather than C or something, so it could be made part of
abcde), but "real life" has intervened.

User directories in /home are missing
Hi,
I use Redhat Enterprise Edition 2.4.21 kernel version. In my system all
the user directories in /home disappeared. No one deleted it. But I
don't know how it is missing. I had one or two open sessions where I
already logged in as root and cd'ed to one particular home directory.

Samba configuration
I'm trying to config a Linux box to integrate into a windows network using
pam_smb and samba.
Ive set it up so that using pam_smb I can get the user to log onto the
linux desktop with their NT id and password.
The only problem is once the user is logged on they need to be able to
access shared resources disk, printers etc... without the need to
reauthenticate to the domain, i.e. use a cache

Hello everyone:
I have a problem with the shorewall configuration. Let''s me tell you. I have
installed shorewall 2.0.4 into a machine with 2.6.8 kernel. This machine

eth1 is an interface for ppp0 (there is an ADSL conected)
I have defined the Network Zones (net, loc);
