Specifying Greek Character in Lattice Plot Label
For an axis label I want to include the Greek letter mu within the string. I've not found the proper way of including that expression within the string. What I want is "Conductivity (uS/cm)" with the 'u' replaced by mu. When I try "Conductivity (" expression(paste(mu)) "S/cm)" I get an error. If I don't separate Conductivity and S/cm with

[LLVMdev] How to Cross compile llvm to ARM ?
...n 2.9. What I suggest you do is just create an x86 llvm (as per normal) and use that llvm/llc to create the object files for ARM using -mtriple=amv7-linux-gnueabi (for example when invoking llc). Note that -g and Thumb2 is not yet supported AFAIK on ARM/ELF on 2.9 (MachO is much better supported I hink) There are a few patches that I will push in to address some of these issues on tip-of-tree but this will unfortunately not be helpful for 2.9 Sorry! -jason On Tue, May 10, 2011 at 3:57 AM, 李柏舉 <poki.gzca at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, all > > I want to compile llvm  for  arm board , r...

Possible artifacts in cross-correlation function ("ccf")?
...seems to introduce zeros at the non-overlapping parts of the time-series, thereby preventing this possibility and producing very different results. Take for instance the two time series: a = {1,3,2} and b = {3,2,1}. The query "ccf(a,b)" produces the output {-0.5, -0.5, 0.5}, but I would think that a time-lag of -1 should produce a cross-correlation here of 1, since the two time series will overlap with identical parts {3,2}. I have attached clean implementations (removing all dependencies) of how the R algorithm seems to calculate cross-correlations with time-lag (it produces identica...

Change in Shorewall Support
Folks, I can''t keep this up. The demands that my job and my personal life are currently placing on me are such that supporing Shorewall to the extent that I have been doing is just not possible any more. I will continue to be active on the development list and will continue to develop Shorewall if at all possible. I will also continue to read the user''s list and will help

help for segmented package

The error message is always estimated breakpoints are out of range. Since my problem is time related problem. So I hink the breakpoints should be all at the same time for all variables. Can I achieve this requiement with this package? How? Thanks Best Regards Peter Here is the code I used and the data is also attached. reduceddata <- read.table("reduceddata.txt") detach() attach(reduceddata) l...

Bug#517007: "xenblktap" module
Another problem is that the blktapctrl daemon itself does not even start if the "xenblktap" kernel module is not loaded. (blktapctrl is started automatically by xend.) So to use tap:aio with Xen from Debian lenny you need to - create a symlink named "tapdisk" pointing to /usr/lib/xen-3.2-1/bin/tapdisk somewhere in root's $PATH and - load the "xenblktap"
