Sprocket Digest + Debug combination broken?
Hi all,
we''re just in the process of upgrading to the new asset pipeline, but I''m
having an annoying issue with Sprockets.
It turns out that I can''t enable both *debug* and *digest* in development
mode. When I do, I get a Errno::ENAMETOOLONG because the digest becomes the
*entire* *content* of the file instead of a hex. I get this with both sass
and javascript.

Numeric data not numeric in .csv file
I am a raw novice to R, playing around with a mini .csv dataset created in
Excel. I can read it in and the data looks OK in Excel and upon initial
inspection in R:
hikes <- read.csv("/Users/eproper/Desktop/hikes.csv", header=TRUE)
print(hikes)
does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Two of the variables are genuine strings, but the others ought to be
numeric, and R will calculate their min, max etc. However, is.numeric
returns FALSE for all of them;...

OK, I understand what you say. I just can't resist objecting to that
example ;)
In my experience, finding the exact same path back after hiking up a
mountain is really hard. Especially if you are in enough trouble already
to get stuck. Up

fail-safe boot - how can this be done?
I'm installing syslinux on an embedded board that will only be reachable via boat+hike or helicopter. This will be a somewhat experimental platform, so I can't make a read-only filesystem on CF. What I'd like is to have two root filesystems on a CF card, one that is a read-only "fail-safe", and a 2nd that is the "normal" system I experiment with. What I'm

Fixing grub/shim issue Centos 7
After trying several paths, some suggested on this list, here's my results.
1) Fixing a unbootable system wasn't practical in my
case. Fortunately, all my systems can be rebuilt from scratch.
2) When I was lucky enough to catch an updated system before reboot,
backing out the defective updates wasn't possible. Yum said there
were no prior versions.
3) The most reliable method I

interesting comment this week about the Xbox - any intelligent thoughts
here?
I know the price point puts it above most users Asterisk outlay (I run
mine on a $100 P3 -800)
But interesting to see what happens if people start running video
conferencing etc on their home asterisk servers, and lets face it where
else can you buy this

running version 1.x to the latest 2.0.3
When I run configure --with-vpopmail, it bombs pretty quick as follows:

DEPRECATION WARNING: Passing a template handler in the template name is deprecated. (rspec + haml)
I upgraded a small project that I had created on 3.1.3 to 3.2.0.rc2.
Running rspec on it brings about a large amount of these messages:

Hi,
Just back from a hiking trip. One of my clients sent me a message that his
CentOS server refuses to boot. So tomorrow I have to drive there to figure out
what's going on. I guess there's a high probability it's the issue discussed in
this thread.
