New batteries and another attempt to get nut running

I have configured it to use this generic-usb, and probably made it less
secure by adding myself to /etc/group/nut and changing many of the perms
to 0660 or 0664 so I can edit this stuff as me. Those of course are fixable
late...

/dev/hidraw0 was _not_ created during boot time discovery, and was only
created when I momentarily unplugged the data cable, which when I plugged it

Thanks again.
This works and the heat has dropped substantially. It is still not as
cool as I would like but this will do for now. I still need to file a
bug report with the intel / apple gmux people.

NUT stopped working after an upgrade
Check /dev/hidraw6, as noted in your dmesg output (and any other *hid* devices under /dev). User nut has almost zero privs to devices unless a udev rule changes the perms on the dev for nut . . .
