embedding subversion version information into HTML
Hi, Say I want to display the subversion release number in the footer of each page in order to track what version of a site I''m looking at. I know subversion has a substitution keyword (LastChangedRevision) that inserts the last known revision in which that file .changed. So, if I stick $LastChangedRevision$ into views/layouts/application.rhtml, it''ll show the last time that file was changed, not the current version of the repository. W hich isn''t quite what I want. Any ideas? Thanks, Joe

RE:Ogg Support for Windows XP - Itunes
...status of windows xp port of your project ... I'm a fun of ogg vorbis but I'm severely limited when it comes to ogg and stuff ... it kinder gets frustrating to have 10000 applications just to be able to play an ogg vorbis related file. I so like your idea currently i 'm using itunes 4.9(hich has been reduced to act as a db manager) plus the old qt component but it has its limitations like cd burning playback just to name a few. it would be nice if a windows port existed. keep up the good work ..when i come out of brokeville i got u in mind thank you for what you are doing ..God Bles...

Dovecot SASL Client support?
Hi all, I seem to recall mention of SASL client support either being added, but can't remember for sure. The wiki says nothing about Client support (now, or in the future)... http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Sasl So - is there support for it now? If not, is it planned for anytime soon? Thanks, -- Best regards, Charles

POSIXct to ts
...elow. I would like to to try decompose () or stl() to look at the trends and seasonality in my data, eventually so that  I can  look at autocorrelation.  The series is 3 years of water temperature with clearly visible seasonal periods. Right now, if I try decompose, I get the following error, w hich I beleive is because I haven't correctly defined a time series. "Error in decompose(try.1) : time series has no or less than 2 periods"   I am stuck trying to go from POSIXct to as.ts Any suggestions on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated.   Sincerely, Mary Ann A...

Missing security tab samba 4.1.13
...s as i expect :-) No, its not nitpicking, the OP has an AD DC that is working as recommended, but the OP wants to also use it as a fileserver, so he needs to configure it a bit more. The only problem he really has is, he used the wrong version of Samba. > > when working without packaging which would remove orphaned files > proper start from scratch and "rm -rf" is better and in case of a > retry i would start with a rpm-spec with %files pointing > to /usr/local/samba/ because that makes upgrades / downgrades in the > future cleaner instead a "make install"...

Dear Daniel. Thank you for your kind reply. Regarding NFS, no, there is nothing like this in my setup. Deleteing SOLR and recreating it, I did it so many times already. I started with *your* setup in the first place, as FTS_squat (which actually works very well and very straightforward, I have no clue why going for SOlr which is just a pain and not maintaining squat), and it leads to totally funny results (for instance, I type "emirates" in my "Air Companies" subfolder and get a lot of results .. but of competi...

Hi Daniel, I am on Archlinux. Anyway, I adapted the scripts. 2 questions: 1 - It looks like we are not on the same version . I am on 7.5.0. Which version are you running ? 2 - Your conf shows that you let managed-schema but deleted schema.xml. What is the meaning of each ? Thank you On 2018-12-22 00:19, Daniel Miller wrote: > Joan, > > The reason for dropping squat, I'm assuming, is that Lucene and Solr potentially prov...

Why Are You Using FreeBSD?
Hi Everyone, This is off-topic, so please feel free to disregard it, but I'm sending it to this list in the hope that it will reach a largish number of users. I am currently looking at updating some of our advocacy material (which advertises exciting new features like SMP support), and before I do I'd like to get a better feel for why the rest of you are using FreeBSD. If you had to list the three things you most like about FreeBSD, which would you pick? Are they the same as when you first started using it? David
