Pareto frontier plots.
BACKGROUND
My PhD project involves simulating a number of energy
system scenarios and then consolidating the costs
across 5-dimensions. At this stage, normally only
3-dimensions are used: financial cost in $, greenhouse
cost in kg CO2e, and depletion cost in J HHV. NOx in
kg and land-use change in m2 are also supported but are
not typically invoked. (CO2e = carbon dioxide
equivalent, HHV = higher heating value, NOx =
mono-nitrogen oxides.)
These results are collected in a text file and then
read into an R data frame:
